Manaslu / Gorkha
Tsum Valley is a sacred, long-isolated valley tucked against the Tibetan border in the Manaslu region. Opened to trekkers only recently, this restricted area preserves a deeply Tibetan Buddhist way of life, with old monasteries such as Mu Gompa and Rachen Gompa, mani walls, and villages where hunting is forbidden by religious vow. It is often combined with the Manaslu Circuit.
